Increase Counting Speed and Accuracy

Cummins-Allison introduced the first JetScan™ currency scanner in 1991 and changed the concept of currency handling forever. The JetScan currency scanner does more than just count the number of notes in a stack; it actually identifies the denomination of every note processed — for up to 10 countries* — at speeds of up to 1,000 notes per minute. The JetScan utilizes additional scanning technology capable of processing multiple country currencies separately on a single machine.

With JetScan Currency Scanners:

  • Adjustable speed allows for quick processing — up to 1,000 notes per minute.
  • Count Canadian Dollars** as well as:
    British Pound Notes **
    Euros **
    Mexican Peso **
    Saudi Riyal **
    Scottish Pounds **
    South African Rand **
    Turkish Lira **
    U.S. Dollars **
  • Mixed currency (of the same currency type) can be processed without presorting. JetScan currency scanners provide the total, individual counts and values for every stack of mixed notes presented.
  • You never have to worry about a $20 note being counted as a $5 note. While counting a single denomination, the JetScan currency scanner will stop whenever a note of another denomination is presented.
  • A combination of up to five separate counterfeit detection methods — infrared, magnetic, metal thread, fluorescence and enhanced ultraviolet sensing (EUV) — provides fast and extremely accurate suspect note detection.
  • Different levels of suspect detection settings can be designated for each denomination, allowing for higher screening of larger notes.

* Standard unit handles two different currencies. Optional unit upgrades can handle up to
   five or ten currencies.

** Accepted currencies must be pre-programmed.
